Instructional Designer

University of North Dakota

I work with faculty in a number of programs, including the College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and our Self-Paced, Enroll Anytime courses. I review course alignments between objectives, course materials, and assessments to create engaging learning opportunities. I also assist in promoting UND's campus-wide accessibility initiatives.

2015 - 2015

Director of Educational Initiatives

United Way of Southeast Missouri

In this role, I was responsible for promoting awareness of early-childhood literacy in the larger Cape Girardeau County community.  I also worked with Subject Matter Experts in the community to design and disseminate program materials.  Assessed all program materials and initiatives. 

2010-2015

Assistant Professor of English

Pfeiffer University

As an Assistant Professor, I designed a variety of courses for the English Major and General Education curriculum. These included composition, literature, and film courses. Additionally, I also advised students and participated in curricula review.
